Wallace/Deane premiere in NCH, 13th December

13th December, National Concert Hall, Dublin - Christmas Concert including the premiere of two Irish composers shaking hands across two centuries... Vincent Wallace's "Last Rose of Summer" Variations was originally written for violin and orchestra, but the score and parts were lost. Raymond Deane has reorchestrated the work (to a commission from Thomas J. Tobin for the violinist David Tobin), which lasts about 12' and culminates in a Polonaise!
